Februar 1985 in Trento, Italien geboren. Oktober 1986 in Trento, Italien geboren.

*** English version: Hello Andrea and Martina! We are happy to make this interview with you, thank you for taking time to answer our questions. Please introduce yourselves in a few sentences: It's a pleasure to collaborate with you! We give you some information to get to know us better. Andrea: I was born in Trento (Italy) on February 25, 1985. I am interested in body art early, although my parents did not support me, and I understand that it would have been my way. After graduation, I decide to work for a few years as a surveyor; in this way, I was able to collect the money to start my business as a piercer. In 2006 I received the qualification to be able to work as a piercer and in 2008 I opened my first studio. From 2013 the name of the studio changes to "Aseptic" and 2013 will be the year of major changes. I am attending the conference APP for the first time and I know Barry Blanchard and Mikele Tre in person after having been Anatometal's client for years. In October 2013, we started the collaboration with Anatometal and since then we have grown a lot by expanding our offer with needles and aftercare. Martina: I was born in Trento (Italy) on October 25, 1986. After degree in Cultural Heritage, I did some jobs and started to get passionate about the world of television production. I worked in Milan for a few months. That job would have led me to stay away from home for too long, so I decided to come back home. In 2013 I start working with Andrea and I take care of the management of the studio. Since we are Anatometal distributors, I also deal with distribution management. Curiosity: Andrea and I met in 2008 because we both played in metalcore bands. I played bass and he played guitar. We love cooking, I'm a vegetarian while Andrea is an omnivorous enthusiast. The name of your studio is “Aseptic” – it already pretty much sums up the concept of a piercing studio 😊  What in your opinion are the most important features a professional piercer should have? The most important qualities in our opinion are ethics and humility. The humility to recognize mistakes and learn from them and the humility to continue studying to improve. The ethics of using materials and tools that the piercer considers the best (without compromise) and to advise and follow customers in the best way. Then of course, the name of our studio sums up everything else that we consider fundamental! The brand “Katana” is legendary in the piercing community, would you please tell us a bit more about where the needles come from and how you managed to bring these to the European market? The "Katana" needles are actually legendary. For us being able to be exclusive distributors for Europe has been a great honor and a great result. First of all, any product that we resell as distributors, has always been used in our studio. Anatometal sold Katana needles until a few years ago. We used the "Katanas" for the first time by purchasing them from Anatometal and we loved them from the first use. Since Anatometal stopped selling them, we have contacted the Katana needle manufacturer through the Anatometal distributor in Japan. We didn't want this product to disappear from the market. The Katana needles are made in Japan and were designed by a Japanese piercer who had this wonderful insight. We are all grateful to him! Katana needles are available in almost all sizes from 19ga to 6ga (blades) and O-Needles from 18ga to 14ga. What about Kiwami needle blades? Are these a younger brother of Katanas or would you say it is a completely different product? Kiwami needles are very similar in concept but have a different manufacture. They are different projects, always produced in Japan but by different manufacturers and are not linked in any way. They share the same quality: they are both silicone coated and very sharp. Kiwami needles come already packaged from the factory and currently they produce only blades: 18ga, 16ga, 14ga, 12ga and 10ga. You are also the official distributor of Anatometal jewelry in Italy, so you cover two important fields: jewelry and needles. Are you planning to expand your cooperation network?  Being distributors for Anatometal is a huge honor. We work with a quantity of wonderful jewelry every day, a pleasure for the eyes! In October 2013 we started to distribute Anatometal in Italy. In a very short time, we were contacted by European customers who asked to order from us. The advantage of ordering from the European Union is first and foremost the low cost of shipping compared to the United States. Furthermore, we are directly involved in dealing with customs and dealing with importation. This aspect is also advantageous. For some years now we have become official distributors for Europe. We sell in the whole area where the currency is the euro but also in the Scandinavian countries. We are happy to distribute high quality products, a dream that has come true. At the moment we have no plans to expand, we already have a lot of work to do. We are excited, that Aseptic decided to be one of our partners – what do you expect from this partnership? We think that our collaboration will introduce our products to new customers and we hope that everyone will enjoy our blings and blades! Thanks a lot for this interesting talk! Have a sharp day! 🙂 Always a sharp day!
